This is probably my busiest time of the year for me. Believe it or not, I start taking orders a year in advance. And if I have the items I need to create your artwork I may start it the January before. If you are not in a big hurry for it and you would be fine with it being ready the beginning of December for example, then I may put it off and work on Spring and Summer items first. I truly appreciate having as much time as possible. I try to gang up similar items when I work as its easier and more time efficient to work on one art medium at a time. If I am working on clay, I have all the tools out for that and its messy, with dust etc., so I don’t want to be painting portraits in the same space at the same time.
