Dog Lover
We are a serious and dedicated show/hobby breeder located southeast of Raleigh NC. We have 36 years of experience breeding, raising and showing dogs. For the first 18 years of our marriage, our dog breed was the Samoyed, and we were members of the Samoyed Club of America for those years as well as members of a local all-breed club. We were active with our Samoyeds in many areas including conformation, obedience, therapy, rescue, sledding, and skijoring. With very limited breeding during those years, we finished over a dozen American and Canadian Champions that we bred and handled ourselves. My in-laws got their first Samoyed from us. My father-in-law helped us show our dogs in the early days when there was more than one of our dogs in the ring at the same time. He went on to become an AKC and UKC judge, who judged cavaliers among many other breeds, and he is the one that got us started in Cavaliers. We got our foundation bitch, Heavenly's Angelena, from my father-in-law's second litter of Cavaliers. My son put Angelena's first champion points on her with a "Best of Breed" when he was only 10 years old! Both of our children have shown our Cavaliers in the Jr. Handling ring. My daughter made it into the top 15 Juniors showing Cavaliers when she was just 10. We have also been involved in AKC's Star Puppy Program, agility training, obedience training and we continue to show in the confirmation ring in the USA and Canada. We have also fun participating in Fast CAT a timed lure course, and training for titles in Canine Good Citizen, and Trick Dog.
Proud to be recognized as an AKC Breeder of Merit, Member of the National Breed Club -Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club, USA, and Member of the Regional Cavaliers of the Northeast Club and Member of the AKC Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club of Northeastern New York and Central Carolina Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club.
